Mardi Gras @ Sneaky Pete's

On Mardi Gras this year I got to play with good friends in Hippie Gumbo at
Sneaky Pete's on Lake Lewisville. HG's original guitar player,
Swingin' Dick Fisher, couldn't be there so they asked me to sit in.
T-Richard, Sookie, and Champagne Johnny are great guys and outstanding
musicians so I was honored! The gig was too much fun. We
must have done something right because the manager asked if we'd do some
more gigs in the spring and asked us to be Sneaky Pete's official Mardi
Gras band every year. It's easy to sound good and keep the crowd
happy with musicians as talented as Sookie, Johnny, and T-Richard. |
